Our Life Experiences

I’m very excited about being on a local TV show this August 12th. The name of the show is An Ordinary Journey and it’s broadcast every Thursday on York Comcast channel 16 between 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The shows host is Leigh Thomas. She also wrote a book called An Ordinary Journey: “Sex, Drugs, Rock N Roll, and Attempted Murder.“ I can tell you between the title of her book and the phone conversations we’ve had, this is going to be a very good show. Although the subtitle for her book obviuosly makes a bigger statement about her life experiences than the subtitle of my book Why I Pray in the Shower: “A Journey from Fear to Belief in Myself “ does about mine, I’m sure she will agree we can use our experiences to help us become a better person than we were before. Some of her experiences were without a doubt more frightening than mine, but I’m sure Leigh will also agree that we’re both survivors who want to help others find happiness in life. I’m a little nervous about doing the show, but also very excited to get my message out there. One I started over six years ago when I first began writing my book and included in the introduction. “That everything’s going to be all right, even when it’s not. And that there is indeed some kind of God, and it’s ok to pray to it, even in the shower.”
