Why I Pray In The Shower

I just wanted to let the regular readers of my blog to know that I’m still here. I have been busy with classes at Delaware Technical and Community College. I have done a few video’s on my YouTube channel that you can check out, and I plan on doing more soon. I had actually planned on writing more in depth this weekend about some of my more recent experiences and the emotions I felt through them. And to also do a video review for a friend who wrote a book called Dad, Me, and Muhammad Ali. Unfortunately my mother passed away this Tuesday and it hit me much harder than I thought it would. I will write about it very soon. I’m feeling a little better now, and I will be all right, but again I had no idea I would feel the loss of my mother at the level I do. Take care for now; I promise to begin writing more frequently again soon, and I appreciate all the loyal readers of my blog.

I want to thank Online Counseling Degrees for making Why I Pray In The Shower one of their Top Alcohol Abuse Blog award winners. They have a lot of information for people who want to earn an online degree in the counseling field. I’m very careful about what type of commendations I accept and who I accept them from, but they seem like a legitimate and helpful site. They also gave awards to blogs that I feel are helpful to people who are thinking about a career in the drug and alcohol field or in recovery.

I want the regular readers of my blog to know that the reason I haven’t been blogging as much has been due to some recent events and changes in my life. I’ll write more in the future about some of the things I experienced and how they helped me grow stronger both spiritually and as a person, but I’ll let you know that one of the changes was me and my wife moving to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It was a process that included some uncertainty for both of us, but it all worked out in the end. As I said, I will write more about some of the things I experienced, but just know that I believe more than ever that everything happens for a reason. Also know that I am doing fine, and that I plan to start blogging regularly again as soon as I can.
